Sales & Operations Planning Analyst
Huntsman is seeking a Sales & Operations Planning Analyst supporting the PU Division located in Geismar, Louisiana. This position will report to the S&OP Manager.
Job Scope
The Sales & Operations Planning Analyst (SOPA) will play a pivotal role in balancing demand and supply across various product families, ensuring capacity constraints, mix issues, inventory management, and customer orders are effectively addressed. The SOPA will be responsible for short-term, medium-term, and long-term planning horizons, coordinating with internal teams across different regions, and contributing to strategic business growth.

Huntsman is on the lookout for a talented Sales & Operations Planning Analyst to join our team in Geismar, Louisiana. In this exciting role, you'll work closely with our S&OP Manager to balance demand and supply across various product families. You will tackle short-term challenges by manually balancing supply and demand to provide key data to upper management, ensuring decisions can be made swiftly in response to inventory or supply issues. As you progress into medium-term responsibilities, you’ll dive deeper into organizing supply meetings, and meticulously analyzing any gaps between supply and demand. Your insights will guide our planning for the next 18 months and beyond. On top of that, your contributions will play a vital role in developing long-term strategies that align with our global supply chain needs. We’re looking for someone with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, plus a minimum of three years’ experience in the domain. Are you organized, adaptable, and a natural communicator? If you have experience with data mining and working with various internal teams, including production and finance, you may be the perfect fit for us.
