About the role
As Chief of Staff, you will report directly to the CEO and the executive team, partnering with leadership to drive strategic initiatives, streamline operations, and enhance cross-functional collaboration to achieve company goals, prioritizing key initiatives and aligning resources to ensure strategic objectives are met.
This role demands a strategic thinker with strong execution skills to oversee HR, accounting, administrative workflows, and cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-oriented person who is able to combine meticulous planning & organization, with an empathetic interpersonal style, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to tackle a variety of challenges.
Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic advisor and right-hand to the leadership team, define business priorities, drive execution of key initiatives, ensuring alignment on key priorities and initiatives.
Help enhance overall business unit strategy, and internal operating models.
Perform analyses and provide recommendations to facilitate effective business unit decision making.
Manage communication drafting executive briefings, presentations, and key communications to support leadership visibility and alignment.
Research and implement solutions for HR, accounting, and operational workflows, enhancing overall efficiency. Develop and standardize operational SOPs to align teams and improve productivity.
Partner to Human Resources: Support the creation of leadership development strategies, succession planning and organizational design.
Organize offsite events, internal programs, and vendor partnerships to foster collaboration and engagement. Coordinate team-building activities and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Provide comprehensive executive and team support by organizing meetings, events, and operational activities. Ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently, addressing issues proactively.
Proactively identify challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and manage crisis response efforts as needed.
Who you are:
3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, business development or a similar role, preferably in a high-growth environment.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives, balancing strategic insight with operational execution.
Highly organized with a planning-focused mindset. Strong prioritization and multitasking capabilities in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Excellent judgment, decision-making skills, and the ability to facilitate discussions and build consensus.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with HR processes, talent management, or organizational design is a plus.
Based in NY.
