Roles & Responsibilities:
- Location: Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
- Timezone: Pacific
Asset Procurement and Acquisition
- Lead and manage Interlaced Fleet Team members
- Run Interlaced Hardware depot program(Fleet), including training new team members, creating and documenting processes, managing supplies and budget as provided by the Division Director-Fleet.
- Evaluate vendors and negotiate contracts to achieve desired profit margin.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to facilitate timely deliveries.
Asset Inventory Management:
- Create and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Implement asset tagging and tracking systems to monitor the location, condition, and status of assets.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with asset records and identify discrepancies.
- Asset Lifecycle Management:
- Develop and implement asset lifecycle management processes, including asset deployment, maintenance, and retirement/disposal.
- Ensure that assets are deployed according to organizational policies and standards.
- Coordinate with IT teams to schedule maintenance, upgrades, and replacements as needed.
- Run asset disposition process for all End of Life hardware.
Logistics and Distribution:
- Oversee the logistics of IT asset distribution, including shipping, receiving, and internal transfers.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure timely delivery and setup of assets for end users.
- Monitor shipping and delivery processes to minimize delays and optimize efficiency.
- Asset Tracking and Reporting:
- Ensure all devices put into use for clients have the Interlaced Toolkit installed and are tracked in the asset management system.
- Generate regular reports on asset utilization, depreciation, and compliance with licensing agreements.
- Present findings and recommendations to the Division Director for decision-making.
- Maintain accurate active user lists for all client accounts by using automated data collection systems and performing regular spot checks. Furnish Interlaced Finance team with active user list for all clients monthly.
On/Offboarding:
- Conduct Fleet Kickoff for newly onboarded Clients.
- Coordinate with clients and other team members to facilitate procurement, shipping and receiving of hardware in support of client orders, user onboarding and user offboards.
- Facilitate the purchase, setup, and shipment of equipment and supplies for internal hires to include computers, peripherals, Interlaced branded merchandise (welcome kits).
- Oversee offboarding activities to ensure all devices are shipped back to the warehouse in a timely manner.
Compliance and Security:
- Comply with GDPR and CCPA data management requirements.
- Ensure that IT assets comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies (e.g., data privacy, software licensing).
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive assets from theft, loss, or unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address vulnerabilities and mitigate risks related to IT assets.
- Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for IT asset procurement, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Track expenses related to asset management activities and identify opportunities to optimize costs.
- Forecast future asset needs based on business growth and technology trends.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT teams, including helpdesk/support, network infrastructure, and software development, to support their asset needs.
- Provide training and support to end users on asset management procedures and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline asset management processes and enhance efficiency through automation or technology solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT asset management.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving asset lifecycle management and logistics operations.
KPIs:
CSAT - Minimum target >98%
Gross Product Margin - >25% per Qtr, Minimum target >15% per Qtr
Procurement Hardware Revenue - > $750,000 per Quarter
