Site Reliability Engineer (Cleared)

IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to support a DOD SOCOM opportunity. ITC will provide the Government with program management and services related to emerging technology solutions including Enterprise Architecture (EA) and data science, application development and management support, training, and enterprise ecosystem support.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the reliability, availability, and performance of large-scale software systems and infrastructure and ensures they are robust, efficient, and enable seamless operation and SIE/operator satisfaction.
  • Designs and implements systems that are resilient to failures, scalable to handle increasing traffic, variability of network topologies and connections, and efficient in resource utilization with across the SIE enterprise of services.
  • Automates operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • This includes automating deployments, networking, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Continuously monitors system performance to identify and resolve issues before they impact users.
  • Manages incidents by quickly diagnosing and resolving issues and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Works closely with development and operations teams to ensure that new features and services are reliable and scalable from the start.
  • Plans for future capacity needs to ensure systems can handle growth without performance degradation.
  • Implements security requirements and best practices, IAW security regulations, to protect systems and data from potential threats.

Location: On-site in Tampa, FL

  • Senior level: 10 years of experience and a MA/MS degree.
  • Substitutions for education:
    • Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree
    • 12 years work experience may be substituted for a Master's Degree

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own.
  • Ability to work fully on-site with minimal accommodation

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have at a minimum active DOD TS/SCI clearance for this role.
