Kimley-Horn's Waltham, Massachusetts office is on the lookout for a dedicated Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Roadway/Transportation team. This full-time position offers you the chance to dive into a variety of civil engineering tasks while providing support to our dynamic project managers. As a Civil EIT, you'll engage in key responsibilities such as designing horizontal and vertical alignments, grading and drainage design, and enhancing streetscapes and overall roadway improvements. You'll also work on multimodal designs that focus on multi-use trails and complete streets, as well as signage, striping, and signalization plans. At Kimley-Horn, we pride ourselves on developing our team members; you'll receive on-the-job mentorship and formal training, gaining exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions. If you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an ABET accredited university in Civil Engineering, alongside 3+ years of experience, you're already on the right path! Possessing an Engineer-In-Training or Engineering Intern certification is favorable, or you should be ready to obtain one within a year.
