About the role
If you’re a marketing leader driven by impact and want to build an iconic developer brand, this role is a unique opportunity. We’re a small team of ~50, punching above our weight — with hundreds of thousands of followers on our socials (LinkedIn, Twitter, GitHub) and 1M+ developers using our products.
As Head of Marketing, you will own the end-to-end marketing strategy at LangChain — building engaged audiences, crafting positioning and messaging, and driving pipeline for our growing GTM motion. At LangChain, we build for developers and offer a suite of products that can be used independently or stack together for greater impact. Our products resonate across industry verticals and customer profiles from native gen AI startups (Replit, Lovable) to the largest enterprises (Vodafone, Bridgewater, LinkedIn). The trio of a multi-product strategy, technical buyer, and breadth of audience makes marketing at LangChain both exciting and challenging. This leader of LangChain will build a world-class marketing function and teams across:
Product Marketing – Craft multi-product, multi-audience messaging and positioning
Growth & Demand Gen – Drive awareness and pipeline through community building, education, and multi-channel campaigns
Marketing Ops – Build an engine for scale and data-driven decision making
Field & Event Marketing – Build community and interest through in-person and digital events, including industry conferences and our flagship event Interrupt
Brand & Communications – Strengthen our presence as a thought leader in AI through memorable, authentic brand and content
You’ll partner closely with Product and Sales to create go-to-market strategies that fuel adoption and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Define and evolve LangChain’s brand, product messaging, and positioning to resonate with key audiences building in the AI agent space.
Establish and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy tailored to both developers and enterprises.
Oversee, enable, and goal growth marketing and demand generation, ensuring high-quality pipeline creation.
Set vision and goals for a high-performing marketing team — driving and optimizing results through rapid iteration and experimentation
Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and company leadership to align marketing with company objectives.
How to be successful in this role
10+ years in b2b marketing, with a strong foundation in product marketing. Big bonus for developer marketing experience
Experience marketing to multiple audiences, including enterprise Fortune 2000
Strong leadership experience, with a track record of building high performance teams
Excellent written and verbal communication for both internal and external audiences
Love for high-growth, fast-moving startup and scale up environments
Cross-functional partnership skills to collaborate closely with product and sales teams
Creative, get-stuff-done type. No task is too big and no task is too small.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary: $220,000 - $260,000. Commensurate with experience.
