About The Role


Reporting to our Senior Manager, Growth Marketing, the Growth Marketing Associate sits on the Growth Marketing team and is responsible for managing Baselane’s landing pages and direct response channels. You will be responsible for implementing an experiment-based growth strategy to improve acquisition via our CRO, SEM and Affiliate channels. This role is extremely collaborative, and you will work across various teams including Brand, Content, Product, Design, Data Analytics, and Compliance, to create a seamless end-user onboarding experience. 


As an early member of our Growth Marketing team, you will have the opportunity to significantly influence Baselane’s acquisition strategy and overall company growth. You’ll leverage Baselane’s unique data to build campaigns and drive impact to channel performance, optimizing campaigns toward our highest-value customers. This role and our office is a hybrid workplace requiring workers to come 2 days a week to our downtown Toronto office @ Front & Bathurst.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Scale and manage Baselane’s affiliate and SEM programs - sourcing the best partners  and campaign optimizations to hit business goals
  • Support the overall team by managing landing page development and conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts at Baselane
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to manage campaign performance and optimize towards sustainable payback periods
  • Launch measurable tests across campaigns; continually optimizing landing pages, ad campaigns, automation, and workflows
  • Own website and landing page performance; conceptualize, prioritize, and manage CRO initiatives to improve conversion rates at every step of the user journey
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor programs, and propose innovative tests to help reach target conversion goals


What We’re Looking For
  • You have 1+ years of growth marketing experience or a similar background
  • You have some experience optimizing landing pages and running conversion rate optimization (CRO) experiments
  • You have some experience working on one or more of these ad marketing platforms: Google Ads, Affiliate, Meta, YouTube, Snapchat, Ironsource or TikTok
  • You have a knack for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on campaign data with the goal of finding actionable insights
  • You are highly organized with strong attention to detail, clarity, and action-oriented
  • You are goal-oriented and know how to focus in order to hit your goals on the team 


Bonus Points
  • You are skilled in writing SQL or Python and have a proficiency with data visualization tools
  • You have prior experience running successful landing page tests and using a platform like Google Optimize, Unbounce, Instapage, etc
  • You have experience working in Segment and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience in marketing an SMB fintech product

Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, location, and business needs.

In Toronto, the base salary range is $50,000 - $65,000 CAD
