Position Title: Director of Product, Mobile & Consumer

Location: New York, New York

Role Mission:

As the Director of Product, Mobile & Consumer at LeagueApps, you will own the strategic vision, roadmap, and execution for our mobile and consumer-facing experiences. You will play a key leadership role in advocating for athletes, parents, and coaches, ensuring our products deliver seamless, intuitive, and impactful experiences. This role requires a mobile-first mindset, deep expertise in consumer product development, and the ability to drive innovation in youth sports software. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to develop products that empower millions of users and keep our partners ahead of the game.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for our mobile and consumer (coach, parent, player) experiences.
  • Own the consumer product guild, advocating for user needs across all squads.
  • Identify industry trends and best practices in mobile and consumer technology to keep LeagueApps at the forefront.
  • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market research, user feedback, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into user stories, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders—including customers, internal teams, and external partners—to gather insights and communicate updates.
  • Lead agile product development processes, including sprint planning, backlog management, and release execution.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and user engagement, using data to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Stay ahead of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies, bringing fresh ideas that elevate the consumer experience.

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on mobile and consumer products.
  • Proven ability to lead product development from concept to scale, balancing customer needs with business impact.
  • Deep expertise in mobile platforms, including iOS, Android, and best practices in mobile UX/UI.
  • Experience working with B2C, B2B2C, or marketplace models, particularly in SaaS, SMB, or youth sports technology.
  • Skilled in gathering and refining customer requirements, translating insights into product innovations.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, using data and qualitative insights to shape product direction.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, adept at influencing stakeholders across all levels.
  • Passionate about youth sports and empowering communities through technology.

Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal pay parity relative to other LeagueApps employees. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at LeagueApps to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
