The Director of Vendor Performance is a key leadership role responsible for optimizing vendor relationships, enhancing procurement processes, and driving supply chain efficiency to support seamless operations across multiple centers. This role will play a critical part in ensuring high-quality patient care by managing vendor contracts, negotiating cost-effective agreements, and implementing performance metrics to track and improve supplier reliability.
This is a remote role with preference given to those living in the East, South or Midwest.
Oversee and enhance procurement processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
Develop and implement vendor performance metrics to track service levels, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Establish bulk purchasing strategies and strategic vendor partnerships to drive cost savings.
Manage contract negotiations to secure favorable terms while maintaining service quality and supply chain integrity.
Identify and address vendor-related gaps, ensuring that sourcing and management initiatives align with business goals.
Develop strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining or improving product and service quality.
Monitor and assess vendor performance, ensuring accountability for service level agreements (SLAs) and contract terms.
Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and clinical teams to optimize spending and resource allocation.
Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements.
5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in a healthcare or multi-site environment.
Proven track record of negotiating vendor contracts and driving cost efficiencies.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track, report, and improve vendor performance metrics.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across teams and with external vendors.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment with a strong focus on operational excellence.
