Job Description:

Clinical Nurse - Wound Ostomy Continence Team

Please Note - This opportunity is not open to New Graduate RNs.

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are looking for a clinical nurse with experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care to join our Wound Ostomy Continence (WOC) Team. Our team delivers comprehensive care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Role Overview:

  • You will provide specialized nursing care to hospitalized oncology patients with complex wounds, perform detailed assessments, and develop treatment plans to optimize wound healing and patient outcomes.
  • You will also work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide education, support, and continuity of care throughout the various stages of treatment and follow-up.
  • Implement the nursing process for medical and surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring and nursing interventions in our WOC Team.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care.
  • Provide outstanding patient centered care to our patients.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1.5 years of Clinical RN experience in an acute care setting; Wound/Ostomy care experience highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current New York State RN License/Registration
  • BCLS Certification
  • WOCN preferred

Additional Information:

  • Location: Rotate between satellites site in NYC (David. H Koch Center and 53rd Street)
  • Shift: Full-Time; 10/hr days; 8:00am-6:00pm
