About the role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a key member of the Release Engineering team, responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of Netwealth’s deployment processes. The Release Engineering team plays a critical role in enabling Netwealth’s development teams to deliver software efficiently, DevOps practices for streamlining building, maintaining, and optimising deployment and release processes.
You will be responsible for designing, building CI/CD frameworks, pipelines and strategically leading initiatives that further enable build and release management tools/processes that reduce manual efforts and developer cognitive load.
About you
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be capable of leading, mentoring and guiding our Junior Engineers to enhance maturity and best practices to Release Engineering within Netwealth. Alongside thriving in a hands-on technical environment; a key requirement of this role is strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills. You will have the capability to clearly translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences, collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Security, Development and Risk professional to ensure teams that the quality DevOps practices, and culture are delivered to the business.
Skills and experience include;
minimum of 4 years in a similar role with hands-on DevOps experience essential
technical leadership and mentoring DevOps Engineers experience desirable
strong proficiency in DevOps tools
previous experience administering automation libraries and DevOps tools
Automation and CI/CD pipeline management
Coding and Scripting
Infrastructure as Code
