Social Media Specialist

As a member of the WAVY/FOX43 digital sales team, Social Media Specialist is responsible for implementation and execution of all Social Media platforms. Social Media Specialist will work with the Sales Managers, independently and in conjunction with the WAVY/FOX43 sales team, to achieve budgeted revenue goals in the digital marketing services area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media campaigns to include Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat, TikTok and LinkedIn
  • Compile digital reports for account executives
  • Be an effective partner with the station sales team in generating digital revenue
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns to include Google Analytics, Social Media, display, video to include OTT and creative development
  • Educate account executives on how to position and sell social media campaigns

Requirements:


Education: BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Communications or equivalent experience preferred

Experience:

  • 1+ years of digital marketing or media sales is preferred
  • Proficient in all social media platforms, to include development and implementation of Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat, TikTok and LinkedIn
  • The ability to create digital banner and social media ads
  • Significant knowledge of the local digital marketing products offered and its effective use for clients
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who is able to work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to execute in an organization through collaboration and a consultative process
  • Excellent follow up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Resourceful, self-motivated and a skillful multi-tasker
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to become proficient on in-house sales systems
  • OTT fluency and experience
  • PowerPoint presentation creation is a plus
