Litigation Paralegal

Padgett Law, P.A is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation including case preparation, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Draft, format, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence with the court.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes to support attorney arguments.
  • Manage case files and ensure that all documentation is accurate, organized and up to date.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial binders and evidentiary materials for courtroom presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel, providing updates and answering inquiries.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in a paralegal program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedures, including federal and state court rules.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software; familiarity with case management software is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines while working under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
