The Compliance Specialist will assist in creating, implementing, and managing compliance policies and procedures in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations for assigned clinics.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assists in preparation for AAASF inspections and accreditations of new and/or existing clinics
Conducts research and interprets statues/regulations that require compliance across assigned clinics
Organizes and keeps compliance manuals current for assigned clinics in alignment with state and AAAASF requirements
Assists leadership in driving education and achievement of clinic department goals, objectives and processes
Proactively escalates to the Clinical Manager and/or VP, Clinical Operations any perceived obstacles, barriers, problems or unusual circumstances with respect to compliance measures and outcomes
Collaborates with appropriate departments to ensure compliance is met at all times in accordance with established policies and procedures

Requirements

Bachelors Degree
Previous experience in healthcare, compliance or legal research is preferred
Strong communication, organizational, multi-tasking, research and problem-solving skills
