Senior Virtualization/VCF Engineer
VMware VCF Senior Consultant (Remote, U.S. Citizens Only)
Salary: 115-150K
We are seeking a highly skilled VMware VCF Senior Consultant with deep expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) to join our team. In this remote role, you will collaborate closely with our VCF architect and automation teams to design, deploy, and optimize cutting-edge VMware VCF solutions. Your work will play a pivotal role in ensuring performance, scalability, and security for our clients' cloud infrastructures.
The ideal candidate is a technical expert with a strong track record in digital transformation and a deep understanding of enterprise cloud environments. Beyond technical acumen, you must be an effective communicator capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-solving skills and cross-team collaboration will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and optimize VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions.
- Work closely with the VCF architect and automation teams to ensure seamless implementation.
- Provide expertise in VCF architecture, lifecycle management, and automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex VCF infrastructure issues.
- Guide clients through digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation, best practices, and training for clients and internal teams.
- Stay up to date with VMware advancements and recommend strategic improvements.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to client security requirements).
- VMware Certified Professional – VMware Cloud Foundation (VCP-VCF) certification.
- Proven expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) architecture, design, and deployment.
- Strong background in virtualization, networking, storage, and security within VMware environments.
- Experience in automation and orchestration of cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize VMware environments for maximum efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with vRealize Suite, NSX-T, and vSphere.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and integrations.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
- Previous consulting experience is a plus.
