Front-End Engineer (React)

We're looking for you, a meticulous, curious, and adaptable Front-End Engineer with the ability to translate pixels into code. You can work closely with Product Owners, Designers and other Engineers. On top of this, you are a cooperative person, supporting and promoting knowledge sharing is part of your way of doing things.

Your role will focus on designing, testing, and implementing user-facing software applications, with a strong emphasis on front-end development. For this reason, it’s expected that you’re comfortable with front-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.

Some of your day-to-day tasks will include building responsive and interactive user interfaces, collaborating on design decisions, optimizing performance, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and writing tests for front-end components.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Front-End Engineer
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3 and Typescript
  • Familiar with React, or similar Front-End framework (e.g. Angular or Vue)
  • Familiar with version control systems such as Git
  • Good understanding of English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
  • Understanding of cross-browser and device compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Ability to integrate with web services (RESTful APIs, JSON, and GraphQL).

It would be awesome if you also have...

  • Understanding of Webpack or Vite as a front-end build tool
  • Familiarity with Component-Driven Design and tools as Storybook
  • Expertise in unit and integration tests

Compensation

  • The salary range from this role is between €26,126 to €43,626 annual gross which includes meal, vacation, and Xmas allowance.
