Software Engineering Intern

We’re a team focused on building tools that simplify and improve developer workflows, with a specific focus on the Conda ecosystem, which plays a vital role in machine learning and data science. Our projects aim to solidify user experience and expand the ecosystem to support new technologies and use cases.

We’re looking for an intern interested in Rust development and eager to dive into the world of developer tooling. In this role, you’ll work alongside our experienced team to support, expand, and improve our tools and services. You’ll gain hands-on experience with Rust, open-source development, and directly improve the life of data-scientists and machine learning experts. You will also be able to make open-source contributions directly.

We’re seeking someone passionate about development and developer tools, with a strong willingness to learn. Prior experience with the following isn’t necessary but is definitely a plus:

  • Someone curious to learn more about Rust
  • Someone willing to asks questions and look for guidance when needed
  • Familiarity with the conda ecosystem or interest in dependency management / developer tools
