The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of experienced engineering staff. This position involves work tasks that support planning, design, and construction of various water resource engineering projects, and general site-civil development. Interdisciplinary work with hydrogeological science staff is also anticipated. Additional responsibilities include:

Work Schedule: Temporary full-time position, 40 hours per week, during the summer 2025 break.
Compensation: Hourly wage depends on education and experience, plus statutory insurance requirements.

As a Student Civil Engineering Intern, you'll work closely with our knowledgeable engineering staff on exciting projects that focus on water resource engineering and site-civil development. Day-to-day, you’ll dive into hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, help with calculations and designs, and contribute to preparing various technical documents. Your role will also include using computer-aided design tools like AutoCAD and performing GIS analyses as you engage in fieldwork and oversee construction efforts. Plus, you’ll get the chance to work in interdisciplinary teams and even meet with clients! To succeed here, you should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and possess solid computer skills, particularly in spreadsheets. While experience with surface water modeling or programming is a plus, it isn't a strict requirement.
