This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Americus, GA with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting (Summer June through August).
Work with the Manufacturing Engineer improving material flow; redesigning assembly cells
Design jigs and fixtures
Participate in Kaizen events

A current engineering student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
Experience with Solidworks and/or 3D Printing
Understanding of continuous improvement; lean manufacturing
Experience designing jigs and fixtures
Knowledge of environmental, safety and quality regulations
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

Pay range for this role is $23 to $29 per hour based on year of study
