This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Americus, GA with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting (Summer June through August).

  • Work with the Manufacturing Engineer improving material flow; redesigning assembly cells

  • Design jigs and fixtures

  • Participate in Kaizen events

  • A current engineering student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering

  • Experience with Solidworks and/or 3D Printing

  • Understanding of continuous improvement; lean manufacturing

  • Experience designing jigs and fixtures

  • Knowledge of environmental, safety and quality regulations

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

Pay range for this role is $23 to $29 per hour based on year of study
