SEO Marketing Content Writer


YOUR ROLE:
  • As our SEO Marketing Content Writer you will be responsible for the ideation, creation, and distribution of various SEO-friendly content pieces. Your work will boost SiteGround’s product and brand awareness, engage both existing and potential customers, and generate leads and new clients. Your passion for the written word is matched by your strong grasp of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization that drive organic growth.  You make a point of researching and understanding a topic inside out before you start writing, allowing you to turn insights into actionable strategies.

  • Please Note: This is a hybrid role that requires in-office attendance twice a week at a co-working space in Madrid.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Creating and promoting content in English: blog articles, emails, landing pages, promotional copy, social media, video scripts, etc.;
  • Partner content ideation and creation, depending on the audience and the business goals of the company;
  • Optimizing, refreshing, and growing our existing content;
  • Working closely with other departments and the local teams (e.g. Social Media, Growth Marketing, etc.) in order to grow SiteGround’s customer base;
  • Following industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging SEO practices to ensure our content remains appealing and innovative.


OUR EXPECTATIONS:
  • Еxcellent command of English (both written and spoken);
  • Minimum 3 years of experience planning and writing content;
  • Thorough research and understanding of every topic before you tackle it;
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization;
  • Attention to detail and adaptability to a fast-paced environment;
  • Previous experience in SaaS, B2B, or the tech industry is a plus.
