In Group Disability, our mandate is to assist our Clients, both employees and employers, in the relentless pursuit of better health.

What will you do?

  • Calculate and release Disability Benefit payments

  • Process and apply reimbursements from various sources such as CPP/QPP, WSIB, CSST, etc.

  • Review and comprehend contractual provisions

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls

  • Assist and develop repayment plans for Overpayments

  • Respond proactively to client inquiries or concerns

  • Create an environment that promotes team member accountability and autonomy

  • Represent Sun Life professionally, internally and externally, and work well with partners and clients

  • Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements

  • Bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required to answer calls from English and French speaking clients across Canada and worldwide.
     

Note:

  • Occasional over time is required during periods with high incoming volumes in order to meet client expectations

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.  It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.  In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.  Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
