A complex in Bergen County is looking to on-board a new assistant super. The Employee will work (8:00am to 2:00pm) on a part-time basis twenty (24) hours a week: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The assistant super shall be available seven (7) days a week for emergencies.
Work to be performed at the direction of the Managing Agent &/or Superintendent
Mostly cleaning & custodial duties, special projects and tasks will be assigned as needed.
COMPENSATION:
The Corporation shall provide the assistant super a RENT-FREE one-bedroom apartment as a personal residence in exchange for work duties performed, (use of the apartment is restricted to the Employee and his immediate family). The Association will pay for the electric service; the Employee pays the cost of cable tv.
During the initial 30-day probationary period, the Employee will be paid $18.00 per hour. The hourly payments will stop once the employee moves in.
There will be an employee evaluation during the 30 day probationary period, and prior to move-in.
EXPECTATIONS:
Most of the duties are janitorial for example :Cleaning, moping, vacuuming, window cleaning, elevator disinfecting, stairwells, cleaning laundry rooms, some gardening, minor repairs, painting, maintaining a stock/storage list, monitoring vendors onsite, and related work duties, as needed. A schedule will be provided.
