This is an independent role and requires the individual to be self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable in a faced-paced environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product, and technical teams. The ability to create strong working relationships with diverse groups of individuals will be paramount to success in the role.
We feel that this role is crucial in ensuring seamless integration between game providers and our platform, improving operational efficiency and enhancing the end-user experience.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities
API and 3rd Party Integrations:
Define and document API integration workflows.
Review API documentation and proactively ask clarifying questions to ensure comprehensive and clear requirements.
Support UAT by reviewing test cases and validating that business needs are met.
Support BAT by capturing business feedback and answering questions
Developing a broad understanding of the environment and a deeper knowledge across an agreed subset to act as a Subject Matter Expert
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
Building strong working relationships and earning the trust of game providers, your team and other stakeholders
Collaborating with project sponsors to determine initial scope and vision
Collaborating with the product and technical teams to bridge the gap between their areas and ensure that technical requirements are as detailed as possible to save the development squad time and effort
Business Analysis and Requirements Management:
Provide business process design and documentation expertise, leveraging best practices from prior experience.
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements, distilling them into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Provide stakeholders with accurate and measurable estimates for business analysis deliverables when required.
Domain Expertise and Continuous Improvement:
Develop a broad understanding of the squads environment and specialized knowledge within a designated subset to serve as a Subject Matter Expert in time.
Contribute to the organization's transition towards a scaled agile methodology, actively pursuing continuous improvement in delivery approaches.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML - essential
Industry-recognized certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis), or IIBA ECBA/CCBA would be an added advantage
5+ Years of experience in delivering external integrations or similar with a proven track record of delivery in this area
Experience of agile methodologies, with frequent deliveries in a fast-paced environment
Experience in working with distributed teams
Experience of working in a multi-channel digital and retail organisation
Gaming industry experience – an advantage
AWS experience – an advantage
JIRA & Confluence experience – an advantage
Dynamics 365 experience or implementation - an advantage
Technology development background - an advantage
