Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a robust data governance framework, including policies, standards, and best practices.
Define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure accountability across the organization.
Establish and monitor data quality metrics and processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Lead initiatives to resolve data-related issues and inconsistencies.
Collaborate with business units, data stewards, and IT teams to ensure alignment with data governance objectives.
Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to enforce governance policies and resolve conflicts.
Provide insights into governance activities through regular reporting and dashboards.
Analyze and improve the organization’s data lifecycle processes.
10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and implementing data governance programs.
Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
Responsible for designing, establishing, and implementing data governance framework and key data governance artifacts (Policies, standards, documentation, definitions, processes, and templates etc.)
Metadata management and configuration: Data Catalog, Source System Integrations, Business Glossaries, Data Dictionaries.
Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
Proficient in tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or other data governance platforms.
