Our goal is to build you up for success. Our 2-year Graduate Program is designed to provide you with comprehensive training and development opportunities.
You will have the chance to work in a core business unit and explore different areas of our organisation through rotations.
Additionally, you will have the unique opportunity to gain experience in another division, enabling you to broaden your understanding of our operations and develop versatile skills.
At the end of the program, you will be seamlessly transitioned into a permanent role at AusNet, aligned with your skills, capability, and chosen career pathway.
About the role
As a Graduate Engineer in our Engineering stream, you will play a crucial role in supporting senior engineers and field-based employees.
Your main responsibility will be to contribute to the provision of engineering solutions that ensure the safety, integrity, and efficiency of our network.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to put your power systems, renewable or electrical engineering skills into practice whilst gaining hands-on experience in both office and field environments. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, learning from their expertise and contributing to real projects.
This diverse exposure will enable you to develop a well-rounded skill set and make a meaningful impact on our operations.

To be eligible to apply for our Electrical Engineering Graduate Program, you will have full working rights in Australia, and have graduated in 2024 or graduate by December 2025, with a degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
