Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Residential Hospice House, Night Shift

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, your primary responsibilities will include utilizing the nursing process to deliver tailored care to adult and geriatric patients in our Residential Hospice House. You'll be administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and providing emotional support to both residents and their families. Ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and maintaining patient privacy are also crucial aspects of the role. You'll work collaboratively with a dedicated team, and at times, assume the responsibilities of a Charge Nurse, fostering an environment of professional leadership.

To qualify for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, candidates must be graduates of an accredited LPN school of nursing and hold an active LPN license in the State of Maryland. Additionally, certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required.
