Plans, implements and evaluates educational programs for specified area(s); in collaboration with Nurse Manager and utilizing information from strategic priorities assesses. Utilizes the Standards of Practice for Nursing Professional Development to develop educational offerings. Serves as a resource and coordinator of education for assigned area(s) of responsibility. Creates a supportive environment to promote a strong learning culture.

Meets licensing requirements to practice registered nursing in the State of Maryland. Minimum of 5 years clinical nursing experience with 2 years experience in perioperative nursing. Bachelor’s degree required, Masters of Science in Nursing preferred. Meets all applicable federal, state, and local professional requirements. Certification in Basic Life Support. Operating room experience preferred.
