Description

The Information Technology department plays a vital role in United Road’s financial stability by innovating and sustaining communication and intelligence between all the company’s stakeholders. IT Support Specialist will provide end-user support and assist with configuration and installation of hardware and software.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Provide technical support for desktops/laptops, printers and scanners
  • Responsible for installing miscellaneous software as required
  • Desktop/Laptop setup, configuration, support and distribution
  • Basic Network Troubleshooting and Support
  • Hardware troubleshooting and replacement
  • Support end-users through a helpdesk ticketing system
  • Work with IT team members to provide solutions to user issues
  • Keep IT management up to date with local and system changes
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives, and perform various tasks as needed


 

Requirements:
 

  • Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related program
  • Required to have familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 7, Windows 10)
  • Required to have familiarity with Microsoft 2016 and/or O365 products
  • Required to have familiarity with software and hardware configuration of PCs and network servers
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work with a diverse population and demonstrate good interpersonal skills
