Purchasing Analyst

Vessel is growing rapidly, with scores of projects in planning, and we’re looking for an exceptional purchasing analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll be central to our manufacturing operations, responsible for managing and coordinating all purchasing activities. 


What You'll Do
  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including order planning, procurement, and inventory management 
  • Follow up consistently on orders, resolve delays or discrepancies, and ensure clear communication internally and externally 
  • Act as primary point of contact for suppliers and logistics providers 
  • Input and maintainaccurate purchasing data in NetSuite (ERP system) 
  • Generate reports and analyses to support inventory management and procurement strategies 
  • Support cross-functional teams in the development and execution of supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce lead times 


Who You Are
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Buyer, Purchasing Analyst, or similar procurement role 
  • Proven track record coordinating with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and external suppliers 
  • Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems 
  • Strong Excel skills, including comfort with VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, and other formulas is required 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
