Job Description

1. Purpose

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Western and Central Africa, The Marketing Analyst will support the delivery of marketing programs in Western and Central Africa.

2. Principal Responsibilities-Key Results Area

Provide marketing campaign execution delivery in Western and Central Africa. Given our clients varied needs, these programs would span across both B2B and B2C.   

  • Support and deliver on high quality agreed marketing programs, evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of the executed programs to continuously optimize performance.
  • Manage the local contacts within the regional creative, media and partnership agencies and vendors to ensure a client centric view in the development and implementation of all campaigns.
  • Provide support in administrative deliveries related to client marketing project management and VAS including and not limited to procurement processes, contract management and VIK process management.
  • Work in partnership with key stakeholders including Account Executives, Business Development, Visa Consulting & Analytics and Product and regional colleagues.
  • Manage work statement requests and receipting of all purchase requisitions in line with controllership guidelines and timelines.
  • Manage the budget plan processes for Western and Central Africa, liaising with Finance partners to ascertain spend against forecasts.  Provide timely updates and status on marketing budget position on monthly basis.
  • Share best practice and successful programs within the Visa Marketing community.
  • Manage all reporting requirements across projects and markets and provide timeous feedback to key stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated track record in the management of external clients, agencies, and the development of through the line campaign materials.

4. Demonstrated Experience (skills - professional, technical, business)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field with a marketing foundation - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a services marketing team
  • Demonstrated marketing strategy and campaign management, particularly in digital and partnership.
  • Demonstrated selling skills and client engagement skills.
  • Analytical skills to establish, track and improve KPIs and return on investment and other measurement tools.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field with a marketing foundation - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a services marketing team.
