VAS Group Finance is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our team. VAS Group Finance uses a strategic finance advisory model with key stakeholders—throughout our five VAS business areas—to apply data to business and finance decisions, as well as measure performance. The team serves as a partner for executives and provides finance support for teams that are propelling growth at Visa. We are an agile, highly visible team that collaborates across functions, regions, and products to play a key role in providing financial planning, month-end reporting, and financial advisory support for key decisions.

Position Summary

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to the worldwide head of Visa’s VAS business, the global VAS Operations leader, and the various VAS finance teams that support our five business areas. This role demands superior interpersonal skills to foster strategic partnerships across functions, regions, and teams, to drive thought leadership, and oversee the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting processes. You will present results and deliver sophisticated insights and analyses to business partners and executives, influencing key financial decisions. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in financial management, preferably within a public company, and a proven track record of leading smaller teams and collaborating effectively with key stakeholders.

Essential Functions

Manages the coordination, organization, and execution of advanced quantitative and qualitative analyses. Key activities include overseeing traditional budgeting and forecasting, month-end close processes, enhanced financial/business reporting, business case development, pricing analysis, P&L generation, and strategic business planning support.
Drive business case development for major initiatives, ad hoc requests, and high-impact special projects.
Establish and maintain strategic relationships with a broad range of key stakeholders (i.e., executives, senior, and junior staff) across the business, serving as a key point of contact for all finance-related issues.
Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues impacting the business, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
Utilize advanced analytical skills and extensive experience to become a highly influential business partner, providing strategic financial insights.
Identify and implement transformative changes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision-making.
Develop and articulate near-term and long-term growth strategies that align with business objectives and data-driven insights.
Influence, motivate and collaborate with key global business partners and stakeholders across regions and functions.
Master Visa’s financial reporting systems, execute complex data queries, architect financial frameworks, and lead finance technology initiatives.
Mentor and manage a team of high performing finance resources by helping to create a center of excellence and cultivating a culture of best practices across finance.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
