Voltage Park is on a mission to make machine learning infrastructure accessible to all, from large enterprises and research universities to seed-stage startups and nonprofits. Providing seamless access to compute with pricing and inventory transparency is the future of access to GPUs, and we are the only cloud provider offering a platform that shows all available GPUs with transparent, market-based pricing, in addition to long-term reserve contracts for our customers.
This is a remote role, but you must be based in one of our core locations: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, or Chicago.
We are looking for a Director of People to meaningfully shape the employee experience from the ground up at our fast-growing start-up. At Voltage Park, our People team has three core mandates:
Empower company leaders to retain, manage, and equitably advance talent through competitive compensation, performance systems, strategic planning, and learning & development.
Design, implement, and maintain the systems, platforms, data, processes, and places that contribute to a highly-functioning workplace environment.
Influence the people-centric practices that translate into Voltage Park culture (Values-driven, growth-minded, highly-accountable, thoughtfully inclusive).
As a Director of People, you will be accountable for the strategy, planning, and achievement of the People Team mandate, including the management of the team responsible for its execution.
You will work closely with our Head of Talent to develop strategies and vision for delivering a seamless transition from candidate to team member, and to ensure connective tissue between the employee lifecycle and the recruitment of talent.
As Voltage Park is in the early stages of our scaling journey, you will also act as a player/coach. In particular, you will act as an HRBP to our managers to ensure they are fully supported through change management, performance coaching, and any matters of legal compliance.
This is a fully remote role (with some travel required 1-2x a quarter), but the requirement is for candidates to be based where we index higher on team members (SF, LA, Chicago, SEA).
