Position Summary:

 

Want to help drive the future of Finance?  We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager who is laser focused on solving reporting pain points for our Finance end users across the enterprise.  Our mission is to streamline the financial reporting experience, reducing time to insight and drive greater collaboration efforts for our end users by delivering a consumer grade enterprise experience.

 

The Commercial Finance Product team is focused on creating value for the organization by building durable Finance products that can scale across multiple teams and use cases.  Our Product mindset enables us to take a long-term perspective on the products and features we create, while, at the same time, stay committed to driving the short-term usage and adoption metrics that are so critical to our data-driven success.     

 

What you’ll do:

 

As a critical member of the team, your focus will be to help deliver our next generation reporting platform. Key activities include:

  • Drive users to a single front-end application that streamlines usage, rationalizes reporting and automates low value tasks
  • Evaluate different user personas on the platform and devise strategies to best support those needs
  • Work with Engineering partners to prioritize needs and define acceptance criteria
  • Partner with UX team to bring vision to life and simplify usage patterns

 

What you’ll bring:

 

We’re looking for individuals with the following skillsets:

  • Finance domain knowledge, including Financial, Planning and Analytics (FP&A) and Financial statement analysis
  • Extensive experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, or multi-dimensional data modeling tools such as Essbase or OneStream
  • Ability to demonstrate Product Mindset and the steps that lead to optimal product value creation
  • Management skills to work across a collaborative group of stakeholders
  • Understanding of next gen tools for GenAI and automation

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
