What You'll Do:
· Collaborate Across Teams: Work with business stakeholders, product teams, and fellow software engineers to understand business challenges, review requirements, and draft technical specifications.
· Develop & Deploy Solutions: Scope, design, develop, test, and deploy large-scale, complex applications, services, and systems that drive our business forward.
· Enhance Operational Excellence: Engage in design and code reviews to ensure our systems are high-quality, highly available, scalable, and performant.
· Full-Stack Development: Contribute across the technology stack—from front-end interfaces to back-end services and data platforms—to deliver comprehensive digital solutions.
What You'll Bring:
· Experience: At least 7+ years of industry experience building highly available systems.
· Programming Skills: Proficiency in languages such as React, JavaScript, and Java.
· Big Data & Cloud Expertise: Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Kafka) and knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
· Project Ownership: A proven track record of end-to-end project ownership—from inception to production deployment of complex systems.
· Technical Acumen: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term trade-offs.
· Architecture & Database Expertise: Expertise in service-oriented architecture and working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
· Operational Excellence: Familiarity with CI/CD practices and best practices for maintaining operational excellence.
· Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills with a talent for consensus building, conflict resolution, and influencing cross-functional teams.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
