Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Engineer to independently identify, , software, or technology solutions that address critical business needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in a broad range of techniques and methods in information technology engineering, including software development, data warehousing, statistics, machine learning, and technology infrastructure (servers, storage, network connectivity, and virtualization/cloud environments). The Technology Engineer will be aligned with a specific area: Information, Software, Data, or Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Independently identify and engineer new software, or technology solutions.
• Optimize existing methods and processes to meet critical business needs.
• Demonstrate expertise in software development, data warehousing, statistics, and machine learning.
• Manage and optimize technology infrastructure, including servers, storage, network connectivity, and cloud environments.
• Continuously seek to improve and innovate within the assigned technology area.

Required:

• Bachelors degree in relevant field and at least 5 years relevant experience OR Masters degree in relevant field and at least 4 years experience.
• Java, Python, RDBMS (Oracle and PostgresSQL), NoSQL, Angular or REACT frameworks
• Experience with cloud environments with more specifically in AWS
• Proven experience in technology engineering, with a focus on Information, Software
• Strong knowledge of software development.
• Proficiency in managing and optimizing technology infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to identify and solve complex technical problems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Beneficial:

• Hive/Impala experience
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and a passion for continuous learning.
• Experience in Micronaut framework, NiFi, Marklogic
