The Project Quality Assurance Manager reports to the Director - Quality Assurance or another Quality Manager assigned the overview responsibility for a number of projects.

What You'll Do Here 

• Determining the staffing and budget necessary to implement the Project Quality Assurance Plan;
• Providing input to project proposals;
• Preparing Project Quality Assurance Plans and Quality Assurance procedures and instructions based upon the corporate Quality Program and any project unique quality requirements;
• Monitoring expenditures of the quality personnel assigned to the project;
• Planning, scheduling and controlling the quality assurance and quality control activities on the project;
• Assuring the implementation and enforcement of the requirements of the Project Quality Assurance Plan;
• Providing for the indoctrination and training of project personnel in the subjects of quality assurance and quality control;
• Providing coordination for audits performed of the project;
• Issuing Corrective Action Requests and Stop Work Orders when required; and
• Providing status reports to the Project Manager and Director - Quality Assurance.

What You Bring To The Team

• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a Quality/Manufacturing leadership/management role.
• Expertise in Quality Assurance Programs and processes
• Expertise in manufacturing and project quality and delivery environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physical Science, or related field.
• Experience in developing and/or managing audit systems. 
• Experience managing a robust stakeholder group including client, suppliers, alliance partners, and employees 
• Continuous improvement and the use of process improvement methodologies
• Understands design and manufacturing and nuclear quality standards
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into business action plans.
