Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Ensure that component parts and PCB boards are in good condition prior to assembly. 
  • Manually assemble and mount component onto printed circuit boards according to the layout drawing using work instructions.           
  • Ensure that all components are properly fit, aligned and adjusted.          
  • Keep track of component parts and PCB board inventory. Communicate inventory needs to Supervisory staff.          
  • Ensure completed PCB boards are stacked and kept neatly in bins.           
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.           
  • Perform other job tasks as deemed necessary by management.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting: Position requires long periods of sitting.
  • Lifting: Position requires occasional lifting of up to a maximum of 25 pounds.  
  • Dexterity: Position requires good manual dexterity, and hand eye coordination.
  • Vision: Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.

Additional Information

Work Environment: Work is conducted in an indoor production environment; therefore the employee is not exposed to any outside environmental conditions. 

Status: Full-time/ Regular 

Schedule: Monday- Friday (8:30am- 5:00pm)

Rate of pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position is $16.50 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period to a rate of $16.75-$17.00 per hour.
