We are seeking a dynamic, highly-organized, and eager professional to join our Advancement Team as the Community & Alumni Engagement Manager.

Position Overview

The Community & Alumni Engagement Manager will serve as the liaison to the alumni and parent community, helping to foster strong relationships with our alumni, parents, and school community. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the position will work closely with the Advancement and Communications teams to integrate alumni and community engagement into broader fundraising and communication efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Alumni Board: staff Alumni Board meetings and support the goals of the Alumni Board.
  • Alumni Engagement: Develop and implement alumni reunion, networking events, and other engagement opportunities.
  • Alumni Communication: Maintain regular communication with alumni through newsletters, social media, emails, and other platforms to ensure they remain informed and involved with school activities and initiatives.
  • Alumni Giving: grow Alumni fundraising and participation through The Eagles Fund (annual fund) and other fundraising initiatives.
  • Community Engagement: serve as the liaison to the parent community on behalf of the larger External Relations Team (Advancement, Communications, Admissions), including coordination of events calendar.
  • Community Events: collaborate on Advancement event planning
  • Community Fundraising: collaborate on fundraising efforts across alumni, parent, and other constituencies.


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international, educational, or non-profit environment.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Event Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.    
Technology Proficiency: Experience with CRMs, preferably Raiser’s Edge.
