The 12-month contract Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the BD Non-Acute sales team and customers in the out-of-hospital space. Priorities include ensuring a positive customer experience while supporting inquiries and managing backorders, and being the primary point of contact for a defined list of customers. The role will also be expected to support conferences and marketing projects as needed. Must be able to work onsite Monday through Thursday in our offices in Mississauga, ON, remote on Fridays.
Responsibilities
Support sales team with administrative tasks including inventory updates, backorder and discontinuation management, drop shipments, and sample orders.
Respond to customer leads and inquiries ensuring that any concerns are addressed and resolved in a positive and friendly manner and a positive customer experience is maintained.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of BD products, competitive devices, and application of products.
Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, including BD Customer Service, distribution partners, and identified priority customers.
Support Non-Acute Marketing Leader with tasks including conference and event planning, digital campaign coordination, and collateral preparation and distribution.
Skills and Competencies
Bilingual in French and English is preferred.
Proficiency with SAP and/or JDE and/or Salesforce.com is an asset.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to prioritize and multi-task to get things done quickly.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a creative, problem-solving mindset.
Strong Verbal & Written Communication skills.
Self-motivated, takes on additional responsibilities, and manages priorities with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Experience
1+ years experience in a similar role/function.
Undergraduate university degree required.
