Job Description:

  • Creatively uses adult learning principles and project management skills to design and deliver engaging organization-wide education and training for professional development of employees and leadership.
  • Translates learning requirements into effective learning solutions and documentation. Serves as a resource regarding instructional design and delivery best practices, supportive media, learning management systems, authoring and web tools, and learning technology support.
  • Serves as the Support Services educator and provides educational opportunities to develop and enhance written competencies for Support Services and Clinical Support Services.
  • Serves as the Administrator of the Learning Management System as well as the Program Director for the Front-line supervisor orientation program, and other educational activities facilitating education and competency management, documentation, and evaluation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Training & Development, Instructional Design/eLearning, Education
  • BLS
  • 3 years teaching/instructional experience, curriculum development, and instructional design
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience developing engaging and interactive training materials in a variety of formats with authoring technologies, intranet design tools, and multimedia applications such as Adobe Presenter, Lectora and/or Toolbook, or similar product (e-learning software)
  • Experience in e-learning concepts and tools

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Education or Learning Technology
  • Basic HTML coding skills preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • 2 years Learning management system administrator experience preferred
  • 2 years healthcare related experience preferred
