The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to support Boeing Global Services in St. Louis , MO . This role would be on the T-45/AV-8B/T-7 SEIT Team directly supporting the T-45/AV-8B chief engineer and program management team. This position will lead the structural analysis effort for the T-45 Subsystems - Structural Life Assessment Program (S-SLAP), directly coordinating with the chief engineer, program management team, and integration team as well as the USN customer.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Perform structural analysis (strength and fatigue) and provide results and recommendations to leadership and USN customer.
  • Verifies structural integrity by performing classical calculation using Boeing tools such as CSW,XSA, finite element analysis using NASTRAN/PATRAN to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
  • Defines and documents analysis results for customers.
  • Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish results and recommendations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) :

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering.
  • Experience with aerospace stress analysis and/or structural analysis.
  • Experience working collaboratively to reach decisions and provide recommendations that are acceptable to multiple engineering teams, support teams, and the customer.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Engineering Experience with aircraft mechanisms analysis and design.
  • Experience performing stress analysis using software and manual hand calculations.
  • Experience with Finite Element Modeling.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Senior: $136,850 - $185,150
