We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager - Deliverability to lead our efforts in optimizing email deliverability across a platform serving 500K+ clients. In this role, you will drive a data-driven strategy to enhance deliverability performance, develop monitoring systems to detect anomalies, and transform data into actionable insights. You will manage and mentor a cross-functional team, collaborate with product teams to develop client-facing features, and establish key deliverability metrics and reporting systems.

As Engineering Manager - Deliverability, you will:

Lead a data-driven deliverability optimization strategy across our platform serving 500k+ clients
Build and implement comprehensive monitoring and observability systems to detect anomalies in deliverability patterns
Develop analytics frameworks to transform deliverability data into actionable insights
Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, data analysts, and deliverability operations specialists
Establish and optimize deliverability metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems
Collaborate with product teams to design and implement client-facing deliverability features
Partner with level 1 and level 2 support to create effective tools and training programs for client support
Stay current on email technology, trends, and regulations. Build relationships with ISPs to ensure optimal email delivery.
Define and implement technical best practices and architecture design ensuring high-quality software development and scalability.
Oversee project planning, tasks prioritisation, and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines.

What will contribute to your success:

5+ years of experience in email deliverability, preferably in a high-volume environment
Strong data analysis and visualization skills with experience building monitoring systems
Proven track record managing technical teams and driving performance
Deep understanding of email infrastructure, ISP requirements, and deliverability best practices
Experience with data processing technologies and analytics platforms
Knowledge of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
Excellent communication skills to translate technical deliverability concepts to various stakeholders
Background in SaaS or email service provider environments is highly desirable
