Our products are installed in more than 15,000+ multifamily, commercial, gated communities, and student-housing properties worldwide, including properties developed, owned, and managed by the most trusted names in real estate. Our features are designed for developers, owners, property managers, and tenants and our products lower operating costs and improve tenant satisfaction.

Our Solution:
Developers and owners no longer need to run building wiring or install in-unit hardware. Property managers can grant building access, revoke permissions, and review entry logs from an online dashboard. Residents can open doors from their smartphones, issue visitor access, and see who is trying to enter the building.

The Senior Corporate Counsel will serve as a key legal advisor to the company, providing strategic guidance on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, and risk management. This role requires a seasoned legal professional with expertise in corporate law, contract negotiation, and regulatory matters. This position is ideal for a proactive legal expert who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment and can balance legal risks with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise executives and business units on legal risks and corporate policies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex SaaS agreements, partnerships, vendor contracts, and licensing arrangements, ensuring contracts align with business goals and protect the company's interests.
  • Advise on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyright protections.
  • Advise on employment policies, equity programs, and workplace compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Oversee corporate governance matters, including board communications, entity management, and shareholder relations.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic business initiatives.
  • Manage disputes, litigation, and external counsel relationships.
  • Develop and implement company-wide legal policies and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
  • 5-7 or 7-10 years of corporate legal experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house counsel roles.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, and compliance law.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Business-first mindset.
