Position Overview
Care Access is looking for a Compensation and Program Manager who will be part of a growing Total Rewards team that supports the entire enterprise. This role works directly with Senior Leadership in growing compensation initiatives. This Manager will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of complex activities involving compensation and related systems. Using analytical, organization and communication skills, this position is responsible for developing and completing market analysis, making strategic recommendations, and implementing compensation strategies. This role is highly visible, and this Manager will be working on projects that determine the compensation of commercial, clinical, and corporate talent from early career to executive levels. Requiring a combination of project work and ongoing responsibilities, you will use the ability to multi-task to successfully navigate multiple priorities.
What You'll Be Working On
Duties include but not limited to:
Develop, implement, and administer innovative compensation programs aligned with the company's strategic goals.
Initiate and lead projects to enhance the effectiveness of compensation practices, ensuring they align with organizational objectives.
Recommend strategic adjustments to pay structures to attract and retain top-tier talent, supporting overall business growth.
Work closely with the Finance team to align compensation initiatives with budgetary constraints and financial goals.
Guide the business through the annual merit and bonus planning process, providing insights and data-driven recommendations.
Recommend company salary structure movements, salary increase budgets, and FLSA exemptions.
Prepares special studies and makes recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, or sales compensation.
Leverage technology to enhance compensation processes, driving efficiency and accuracy.
Ensures company compliance with federal and state laws governing compensation.
Create and deploy HR reporting and analytics strategy.
Design and implement HR analytics dashboards for various internal audiences to support HR initiatives.
Present data, and data-driven insights, in a meaningful and actionable way.
Analyze large data sets to inform and drive HR strategy.
Assume responsibility for project management of strategic HR projects.
Provide general support to HR cross functional teams, including HR Operations, Business Partner, and Talent teams.
Provide data and analytics support to the HR function, including expert support of data-driven conversations with other functional teams within the company.
Communicate effectively with Care Access executive leadership about compensation and HR initiatives, updates, and change management.
Support drafting of staff-facing communications, including but not limited to updates related to compensation or HR initiatives.
Physical and Travel Requirements
● This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role. OR
● Operates no tools, machinery, or equipment. No significant lifting.
What You Bring
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Advanced MS Office Excel skills.
· Strong track record in supporting and administering projects at all stages.
Collaborative individual who can build solid relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
Demonstrated ability to maintain awareness of market trends.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Self-starter with an ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented individual with the capability of handling multiple projects at any given time.
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience:
3-5 years proven, related experience in an analytical role.
3+ years with a focus on compensation within a private or public company environment.
Bachelor’s Degree (Math, Science, Business, HR, or related field preferred).
Experience in supporting and developing guidelines, processes, and procedures for a compensation program.
Experience in the clinical research/life sciences industry is a plus.
