Carollo Engineer, Inc., is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. Our infrastructure and pump station-based groups in Seattle, provides support for numerous one-of-a-kind water and wastewater conveyance projects supporting critical systems that keep our environment safe and clean. Our vision is to become the best water consulting firm and we are looking for motivated, talented people to help us reach that goal.

We are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Seattle (pipelines and pump stations). As part of our team you will work on infrastructure projects related to the conveyance of water and wastewater to help create sustainable and resilient communities. The infrastructure team prefers in-person collaboration on their projects.

Responsibilities

  • Performing engineering work in water and wastewater pump stations and conveyance infrastructure.
  • Work on engineering planning and design projects.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Develop plans and specifications.
  • Prepare cost estimates for various projects.
  • Hydraulic system modeling.
  • Development of alternative analysis of design options.
  • Preparation of technical memoranda reports and electronic deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, articulate and self-starter.
  • Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work well in a team environment.
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with peers and mentors.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a consulting engineer with a Professional Engineering License.

Pay Range

$80,000 to $110,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
