RN Surgery

As an RN Surgery at Euclid Hospital, your key responsibilities will include providing nursing care in an operative setting, performing scrub and circulating functions during surgical procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after the surgery. You will also be tasked with preparing the operating room and handling surgical instruments with utmost care.

To become an RN Surgery at Euclid Hospital, you must graduate from an accredited nursing school, possess a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), and have Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association. Additionally, you should have either one year of RN experience or have completed Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification is required within six months of hire.

The RN Surgery position at Euclid Hospital has a day shift schedule, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This routine allows for a healthy work-life balance while still playing a significant role in patient care during the daytime hours.
