This position provides clerical assistance to workers' compensation claim adjusters. Responsibilities

  • As a Claim Assistant, you will provide essential support to workers' compensation claim adjusters. Here's how you’ll make an impact:

    • Customer Service: Provide excellent phone support and communication with claimants, clients, and vendors.
    • Clerical Support: Assist with claims by ensuring proper setup, maintaining files, and updating claim logs.
    • Data Entry: Ensure accurate input of claims data into internal systems.
    • Administrative Tasks: Manage claim documents, communicate with internal and external parties, and help coordinate independent medical exams.
    • Claims Assistance: Handle a very small claim count, including a few Medical Only claims. Responsibilities include claim investigation and setup, timely bill processing, securing and monitoring medical treatment, and pursuing maximum medical improvement and timely claim closure.
    • Team Support: Assist other claim staff with clerical tasks and ensure smooth operations of the claims process.
