Vice President, Process Improvement

Position Purpose: Lead process improvement initiatives aligned with enterprise strategies and goals that results in the overall improvement of the business while enabling the acceleration of revenue growth or maximizing profits and improving employee and customer experience.

  • Manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives to improve processes and business capabilities, delivering value to our customers, our employees, and the company.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to understand business objectives, process requirements and pain points, fostering a comprehensive understanding of organizational needs.
  • Optimize business performance through the design of effective business processes, improvements in information systems, platforms, information management, practices and procedures.
  • Define and execute a structured approach to transition individuals, teams, and organizations from current to desired state to achieve improved and sustainable business results.
  • Develop process improvement plans, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and establish metrics to measure process outcomes, providing a strategic framework for evaluating and enhancing business processes.
  • Collaborate and engage with key stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress of process improvement initiatives, including successes, challenges and next steps.
  • Train and mentor team members on process improvement methodologies and techniques to build internal capability and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain a leadership role in the transformation Center of Excellence, leveraging a framework of leading practice methodologies and tools aligned to successful execution of process improvement initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field required; masters preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in project management and/or process improvement.
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools and application of continuous process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification strongly preferred.

Pay Range: $182,100.00 - $345,600.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
