Position: Technical Cleaning Specialist

Shift: 1st shift

Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM Mon-Fri

Pay: $22.00 hourly

Job Description:

We are seeking 2 Technical Cleaning Specialists to join our team, specializing in oil and lubrication cleaning for facility equipment. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of hydraulic schematics, be proficient in using manual tools, and be physically capable of lifting 30 to 50 lbs.

What We Do Here

Our fully integrated plant in West Union, South Carolina produces all the parts

that go into batteries used in cars, boats, and heavy-duty trucks. We 

began operations in 1985 and now employ more than 300 people and operate six days per week. We are actively involved in our local community and give back through The Salvation Army, March of Dimes, back-to-school drives and the Oconee County Animal Shelter.

Key Responsibilities:

              •            Perform technical cleaning of equipment, focusing on oil and lubrication systems.

              •            Follow hydraulic schematics to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance procedures.

              •            Use manual tools (e.g., wrenches, scrapers, and pumps) for cleaning and maintenance tasks.

              •            Handle and dispose of oil and lubricants following safety and environmental regulations.

              •            Perform routine inspections to identify potential leaks or contamination issues.

              •            Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure equipment operates efficiently.

              •            Maintain records of cleaning procedures and report any issues to supervisors.

Requirements:

              •            Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and schematics.

              •            Experience with manual tools and mechanical cleaning methods.

              •            Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs regularly.

              •            Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures.

              •            Willingness to work in an industrial environment with exposure to oil and lubricants.

              •            Previous experience in technical cleaning, maintenance, or lubrication services is a plus.

Educational requirements:

High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred
