Job Description

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee its location in Jackson, TN. The Branch Manager is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and resource stewardship for their locations. This role is accountable for driving timely and impactful improvements to the operating environment and for delivering performance at or above expectations for service, sales, cost, safety, and quality. Key elements of this role include the ability to manage structured change as well as drive a positive culture. 

Successful candidates will excel at building trust as well as a positive experience for both our customers and our team, set high expectations for self and others, is a change agent and an effective communicator, is comfortable frequently interacting with senior leaders, and shows personal resilience. The ideal candidate will also have a proven record of managing cost effectively and meeting/exceeding financial targets. This position reports to the Regional Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Foster a culture that is consistent with our mission, values, and success model
  • Establish and maintain a business plan and operating budget for corporate management approval
  • Oversee the activities of the sales department and product distribution
  • Identify and implement lean principles for the location(s)
  • Take responsibility for the safety and security of the people who work in our business, the products we supply to customers, and the company’s physical assets; identify, assess, and address any immediate safety and security issues
  • Maintain environments that influence how we feel physically and mentally at work and reflect attention to detail not only in the quality of our output, but in our daily productive routines
  • Effective cost management
  • Provides tactical direction as needed for all operations groups
  • Grow sales by working with sales staff on leads, opportunities and quotes
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving concerns
  • Oversee and improve branch productivity through employee development
  • Oversee accounting and inventory management processes to ensure accurate recordkeeping
  • Oversee inventory, machines, tools and equipment for safe and effective handling and operation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is strongly preferred; a combination of education and experience may be qualifying
  • At least two (2) years of experience as an Inside Sales Representative/Project Manager is preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the field of sales is required
  • Experience in the metal building industry is preferred
  • Experience overseeing operational and financial metrics
  • Extensive knowledge of operations and production management
